Ushindi Africa Children's Choir
The choir has traveled locally as advocates for the estimated 50 million children in Africa orphaned as a result of HIV/AIDS, war, poverty and disease. Accompanied by a team of adults, the choir presents Ushindi Vision and Mission through their stories, music and dance.
Ushindi choir acts as ambassadors to raise awareness about the plight of the orphaned and most vulnerable children in Africa as they raise resources to meet the needs of the children they represent. Ushindi relies on the generosity of supporters around the world to build the Ushindi children’s villages “THE USHINDI MODEL”
The choir’s purpose is to create awareness about the plight of the very unfortunate talented poor helpless orphans and vulnerable needy underprivileged children in Uganda. It’s intention is to help such children was to bring them up spiritually, to provide them with a good firm foundation through giving basic human needs such as education, medical care, food, clothing and parental love, games and sports and other physical and emotional needs
The main purpose of the tour is to share a special message of hope through original Ugandan song and dance. In the process, the children seek to raise awareness of and resources as they create an on going relationships with organisations, churches, schools, medical clinics,Hospitals,universities, and other corporate companies to help with our goals of Building the Ushindi children’s village, The village will include children’s homes, schools, vocational schools, children’s clinic, children’s clinics as step down facilities in the urban poverty areas of Kampala(in the five divisions), a multi purpose building for the church/conference hall, a farm and other many sustainability programs in the a Ushindi model that will cost $500,000.
